We aim to make a positive impact throughout our entire supply
chain.

environmentally, socially, and economically.

We’re committed to helping airlines achieve net-zero emissions without negatively impacting people or the planet in other ways.

That means sourcing feedstock that doesn’t impact food prices or land usage, supporting– not competing with– local industry, and protecting valuable natural resources.

We believe people should be able to travel the world while also protecting it.

Environmental

Our purpose is to keep the world moving through the power of sustainable air transportation. Above all else, we aim to make zero-emissions air travel a reality to combat climate change. The need is urgent, and we are here to meet it.

We will source local, surplus forest biomass as our feedstock, preventing the disuse of a valuable natural resource that would otherwise rot on the forest floor and release CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere. No extra natural resources are necessary and everything will be sourced locally to prevent the need for long-distance transport.

Meanwhile, our production process will be powered by biomass and all power generated will be biogenic. All carbon emissions created during production are captured and stored locally through our carbon capture and sequestration process, ensuring our fuel is deeply carbon-negative and responsible from end to end.

We will provide a sustainable fuel that doesn’t impact the food supply chain.

Social

The world shouldn’t have to choose between food and fuel. Rising food prices are an issue, and we don’t want to contribute to it.

Our Sustainable Aviation Fuel will be sourced from surplus forest biomass– not crops– so it doesn’t take arable land from food or feed production. And we won’t compete for resources: the feedstock has few options for alternative use. As a result, our biofuel won't negatively impact food supply chains, commodity prices or land use.

Strengthening local industry and creating local jobs.

Economic

We’re deeply committed to positively contributing to the local economy and supporting local industry in Southern Arkansas and North Louisiana.

It starts with our operations. Each plant will create ~100 direct new full-time jobs, hundreds of indirect full time jobs to operate the plant and ~1500-2500 construction jobs during the build phase of each plant. However, it’s not just about quantity of new jobs, it’s also about quality. We believe it’s a human right to have a fairly compensated, safe job where everyone is treated with respect.

That care extends beyond our doors to the local timber industry. Our operations will help strengthen– rather than compete with– the forestry industry by creating demand for surplus forest biomass that would otherwise go to waste. This will boost their industry financially, while also helping contribute to forest management, which in turn will increase timber yields– and the amount of surplus forest biomass available for our fuel. It’s a virtuous cycle that will create long-term growth for everyone.
